I love this forum and have learnt so much from many of you.
Your knowledge of Rolex watches amaze me.

But, just lately there are so many threads regarding -- Certain pieces being discontinued etc..rumours

My Ad said this,,,,my AD said that,,,

Are some of these threads driving any of you crazy?

James Cameron, hulk, BLNR will be discontinued!!!!
25% price increase!!!!!
Rolex will NEVER release another ss Pepsi!!!!!
Sub is getting a new movement!!!!!

Rolex does what Rolex wants when Rolex wants it the way it wants it!!!! NO ONE ELSE HAS ANY INSIGHT OR A WAY OF KNOWING

So best thing is to STOP speculating or even talking about it!!

Also when you start looking into these threads its from a lot of very new people that came here to learn and now are pricing experts in no time at all. I guess thats the way the new schooling we have works. Best thing is to not respond to the threads and let them die a quick death.

As a newbie to TRF, its confusing as hell as I don't know what to believe and what not to believe!!! That being said if there wasn't speculation about what Rolex plans to do I feel that there would be little to talk about.

Kind of a double edged sword. I think the end goal is to put what you are reading into context and understand that no one knows what they are talking about until Rolex officially makes an announcement.

My AD suggested that price increase threads might be discontinued in mid to late 2018!
