Poor man's hulk or kermit

I just bought this while I save for my hulk.
Hey at least it's Swiss made and runs great
Don't know why they quit making this one

I once had the hands of the watch fall off within the crystal in that particular watch brand. Continue Hulk savings plan.

Fun for a knock-around but keep stashing the cash away for the Hulk. You wont regret the feel of the real deal!!!

I was an idiot I had the money saved and mayor's had a hulk last year and I passed on it not knowing what it was . Yes definitely plan on saving still but this is just for now. Surprised how many people who don't know watches compliment me on my Rolex when it's not

I had that issue with a black pro diver but it seems this Swiss made version is alot better even uncrewing the crown and winding it has a way better feel

Pretty funny you posted this .. I also just recently bought the 18505 40mm diver from their online store. Its basically what a 5 digit Hulk
with a sunburst nipple dial would look like (and except for lack luster dial lume its actually pretty nice! - hate to say) ... kept +6 seconds a day for 2 weeks with the Sellita movement. Then it died !. Service wanted $180 to fix it and said I must have dropped because the movement is broken so they wouldn't warranty it. I told them forget it - keep it .. I will reverse charges on my CC card ( I paid $260 for it) since I only had it 2 weeks and you are refusing the supposed 5 year warranty. After several Phone calls, some arguments and going back and forth on "fault" of the failure ... They agreed to replace the entire movement 100% covered under warranty .. so will see how the repairs go .. they told me 3 weeks.

Squale or Steinhart is the way to go while saving for a Rolex. Both have the look & a ETA-2824-2 movement.

I might go with the new Seiko MarineMaster SLA019 with the green dial. The green color is stunning in the pictures.

I believe up until 2016 .. I think the new version is now unmarked or marked Swiss Movement ..not Swiss Made.

That was part of my argument when they said I must have dropped it and wouldn't warranty it. I told them well this watch hasn't been made in 2 year so how did it pop up in the online store? I told them it was probably a demo or refurb even though it looked new to me.

I.looked for awhile and finally found one on eBay. Don't think they make a similar one anymore with the coin bezel and 40mm

I love the 18500 series. I have 18505, 18511, 18504 and 18506 for years now and they never fail me, maybe Invicta haters broke on purpose their watches to talk trash of the Brand.

Invicta 9938 and 9937 never fail me as well, so no hate on Invicta over here.

Also have gen HULK (2013), gen KERMIT (2008) gen explorer (2014) and a gen Milgauss GV (2012).

I’ve got a 1545 Maxi that I wear as my Gshock.

It’s rocking on like a boss.

Squale makes the Best Buy under $1k in my opinion.

Just last week I picked this up from Steinhart. Originally they were out of stock but then I was notified they had received a new shipment, so I bought one. The new shipment sold out over the weekend in less than forty eight hours. So far its keeping time very accurately and the overall quality of material and workmanship is quite impressive.
