Great choice, my personal favorite from the SS models, but not wanting to rain on your parade but as far as I know you can’t put a strap on it, might be mistaken but don’t think so.
In any case don’t think you will want to put that beauty on a strap, the bracelet is 40% of it’s charm. About the G model I personally don’t like it, the R is mich nicer if you want precious metal, the G dial is just bland and the least nice from all 5712 models, try to see it in real if you haven’t, plus if ever you want to sell it you won’t easily. |

i agree about the 5712G I didn't find enough contrast between the dial and case..

Yes. I decided I wanted to add a 5712 back in August last year. Kept passing on ones I saw as I thought they were too expensive, only to watch the price rise astronomically. Phoned/visited 100+ dealers across multiple continents. Bupkis.
