I’ve got my eye on the DD40, WG + black dial + diamond hour markers. You are right about the price vs. the DD36, however.

sorry, the one i'd recommend is the one you don't want to pay for

Nothing wrong with a 36mm DD though. If you like the 18238, go for it!

after much debate and pondering, i pulled the trigger on a wg white roman dd40 and could not be happier with it!!

18238 is double quick. 18038 was the single quick.
