What is your favorite watch of all time? And do you own it?

I was thinking about this earlier. Many of us own several watches. But do we all own our favorite? If not, why not?

My favorite watch is actually the Milgauss Z blue. I don’t own one. Why don’t I own it? I seem to keep putting off buying one because I’ve had other acquisitions ahead of the Z blue and the Z blue has been in stock everytime I’ve gone to the AD. Eventually I’ll get one.

I have 3 equal favorites. Rolex Sub (own).

And Daytona and APRO (don't own either). Reason for not owning the Daytona is scarcity and resulting market price. RO is questions about size/comfort and such. And also price.

If I would define favorite as the only watch to have in my life, I would chose the Explorer (I have it) or the DD 36 platinum (not have it)

The Rolex Bluesy was my favorite watch of all time !!!
I have The 6 digit version . My new Grail is the YG Bluesy one day
but it wasn’t my favorite of all time before.

My favorite Rolex is the LVc, which I’m lucky enough to have gotten.

Favorite watch of all time, that I’ve seen/tried on in person is probably the FP Journe CB. It’s on my radar and hopefully I can get one in a year or two.

But if it's your favorite, and it's available, why don't you get it? You prioritize other watches just because they're harder to find right now?

I also would define favorite as if I was told I could only have one watch. The answer is then yes, sub date.

My dream watch 40 years ago was a yellow gold DayDate. I’ve been wearing my 2nd one as a daily watch. I own a number of other nice watches, but the “President” is my all time favorite.

Lange 1 is it for me. I saw that watch years ago and have never shaken the desire to get one. Maybe one day...

Right now it’s my Original JC (I own), but I am hopeful it will be the Blue Sky someday (on waiting list).

I'm finding that my 1680 Submariner is becoming my favorite. Just love everything about it.

A Lange 1 Timezone, and no, I don't own one. I doubt I ever will. Still, a lovely thought.

Absolute favorite is very hard.

Patek 5270 or 5970 that I could never afford.

Iwc big pilot perpetual top gun that is wayyy too big.

Those are just off the top of my head. I’m sure there’s more.

Patek 5370P - nope, don't own it. It's important in life to not get everything you desire. Plus, I think it goes for around $250K. Internet photo:

Two favorites: 1) Blue Sky D, 2) SDC 116600 and I'm lucky enough to own both.
