You cannot know your favorite watch because you cannot own or try all watches

Not counting the dream watch I haven't owned yet, I am afraid this one, but my answer may change if you asked me two months ago or two months later. Since all watches I purchased are my favorites:-)

Lange Zeitwerk, and it's very unlikely I'll ever own one.

I wore a SS Sub for 18-20 years before I discovered this forum, and I love this place! But I’m still fairly new to this hobby. I’ve been in the process of trying everything I can, over the last couple years. I wouldn’t say I have an overall favorite yet, but I REALLY like a couple so far, and I have them. I’d say that I finally have a watch collection philosophy though, and I’m now venturing into another brand. Still a lot of searching and trying yet to do.

One of; black dial YG President, Black Dial YG GMT II or Blue Dial YG Sub. Don’t own any, because I have to figure out what “the one” is, I only want one pm watch.

My all time Favs are
#1 = 16600/White 16520 #2 = 6062 Dream watch = 1665 single red Current = 116660 Sea Dweller Deepsea Black I’d buy 116500 White and be as happy as it’d be the W 16520, i like them quite the same Then... i love some others, 6542, vintage DDs... but i’d be happy with my Valve and the Modern White Daytona

Funny enough I also love the z blue very much but never pulled the trigger because it is readily available. Always lusting after hard to get models and delaying the decision of purchasing the z blue . Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

I really love the 1680, but vintage right now in my life is impractical. I own the modern version of the 1680, the 116610LN, love it as well.

I’d say it always changes, when I decided to get one it turns out to well, not be the end all be all. Currently I’d like one of the monster Patek nautilus like 59801r

The 3 of these in one of my old threads from 7 years ago: 6538 BC, 5513 Milsub and 6263 PN check em’ out. It’s better to have loved than to never have loved at all.

My Rolex grail would be a 1675 Blueberry. I’m as likely to own that as a Lange 1 Timezone. Still, one can hope!

I don't think I have one favorite! I have a series of favorites to include the Daytona, GMT 2, and Explorer which I own and then Sub and Speedy which I have owned and probably will again. When you love watches one favorite is a tough do.

TBH I have many Rolex favorites.. But one I deeply love and continues to remain very special is my Great White, Rail dial, 1665. Went thru a phase of severe flipping and let go of some very nice vintage 4 digits.. Glad I still have this one in the collection
