Finally decided to jump in!!
First post, first Rolex - be gentle!!!
Been eyeing this one up for a while now and having spent hours looking at photos and going in to my local AD a few times to try it on, yesterday I finally decided to take the plunge.... So glad I did and maybe they may look more favourably upon me now for that Batman I want...  Now to get all those stickers off

Great choice. I bought my first brand new Rolex just last month and it was the 42mm Polar as well. I’ll be curious to see how many people convey their congrats. There is usually dozens of them by now when the watch is a subc or BLNR or the like. However, when it’s the 216570 most don’t comment which is crazy to me. I still think it’s the most underrated watch out there. Congrats on your purchase and enjoy being part of the small family within the Rolex family.

That's lovely. I bought the same model this year from my AD and was pleased to get a modest discount. Beautiful watch. Nothing else quite like it, apart from its illustrious predecessor. And those blue lumes really pop. It makes all my other watches feel a bit low rent - apart from my Hulk!

Congrats! The first pic makes the dial looks light grey. I think a light grey color would really give the orange a cool backdrop! Basel 2020!
