It’s probably gone by now OP. Should’ve bought the LVC

The two go very well together, good luck

If the numbers work, get the LVc. I have both. They're both very different watches. I too LOVE different colored watches.

Another vote for adding a Hulk. I just added a Batman yesterday to go with my Hulk and they are absolutely different enough aesthetically. The Pcl's on the BLNR, slightly slimmer case thickness, and color scheme make it a little dressier. I'm very happy I have both and they aren't going anywhere.

By the way I watched your BLNR video a few times while waiting for mine to come in and really enjoyed it.

No yes no. Get the watch you want, which seems like the Hulk and it won’t overlap at all with the BLNR at all. By the way, I like your YouTube videos...watched a few of them already.

I was basically in the same boat.
I had 2 DJs and a 16622 YM platinum dial. These watches basically were slightly diff versions of each other.
Some much needed variety was added in my collection by selling my DJs (1 left) and the other 2 watches.

I picked up the Green Sub LVC and Black/Blue GMT2-C BLNR. These 2 watches do not overlap. Totally Different look and complications. It's NOT like you are buying 2 standard black dial & bezel versions of each.

Flip the OP39 and. / or DJ because I have a feeling you won’t wear them after having the Hulk and Batman. By the way, the Batman dresses up nicely by adding a black strap.

By the way, nice subtle thread to get some folks watching the YouTube videos... ;)

I wanted to ask you all for your advice. Recently I've been toying with the idea of getting a HULK (116610LV) added to my small Rolex collection. I'm stripping back on the number of watches for those that will add value but also look cool/unique with time.

I currently have a BLNR and an OP39 Rhodium dial. NOW... I'm able to get a HULK at basically retail price and considering selling the OP39 to help fund it. The OP39 was my first rolex but I find it's not singing to me as it once did. I can't at this stage afford to have all three watches. Feels a little over kill and I know I wont be giving one of them enough wrist time.

Any other thoughts?
Many thanks in advance for your input and advice.

Get rid of the OP39. I would do that for a LV anyday of the week. Never a fan of the OP at all.

They are a very popular duo although I find myself going with the BLNR 70% of the time.

Like you, I’m also considering the DJ41 in Rhodium, fluted and on jubilee.

Good luck fella!

I don't think the BLNR will overlap with the Hulk at all. I see why you may think that, but I would pull the trigger. I bought my hulk almost 3 years ago, and love it now more than I did then.
I bought my brother a BLNR for a bday present and when I see his watch next to mine, I think how cool it might be hypothetically to have both and alternate them.

Both have catchy colors in pictures but you have to decide which one fits YOU better. Hulk had more staying power for me than Batman. In fact, I am looking to add back a hulk at some point.

The Hulk and BLNR is a very popular combo it seems. I think you can't go wrong.

I say flip the OP and go for the Hulk. Focus on the watches you really love or you'll end up regretting it like so many others.

If you really don't have any serious attachment to the OP due to being your first Rolex, I'd sell it for proceeds towards your next purchase. Doesn't matter if that next purchase is a LVc or a DJ. To answer your question directly, I'd fully support selling the OP to help out with the LVc purchase.

Also, sharing similar sentiment with someone above, your BLNR video along with posts on this site really made me fall hard for that watch. Not sure if I should be thanking you for that or not

Good luck on getting the LVc. It's a great purchase if you can get one at MSRP. Looking forward to the incoming post and video on your YouTube channel!
