It looks like in great shape. I personally wouldn't.

Should I send this to la watchworks for a factory spec overhaul polish for $350?

I have never used them but their work looks awesome and they claim to be able to take it back to factory specifications.

I will hold off. Total estimate came to $500 with shipping

I guess it depends on whether you're the kind of guy who buys a used car and sends it for a full cut/polish/wax job to make it look brand new, or if you buy it with a few dents and scratches because "it will happen anyway"

Think you can do way better in price elsewhere. For example, Rikk Dietel (Rikki here on forum) is awesome and will likely do it for less

If he would have responded to me, I would have considered. I emailed him 4 times over the last month and not one iota of a reply (same with ABC Watchwerks too as I have used them before and they are dark).

Wear it until you need a service. When that time comes, LA Watchworks is one of the best in the business.

Good idea not to move forward, since it will be back in that condition within a month. Just take the bracelet off and have sonic cleaned at a jeweler.

I totally agree. Looks great. And will look even better with your own scratches on it. In time

At 1st i thought you probably should not do it but since you just bought it, for $350 to take the micro swirls out and stuff is not a big deal at all.

I recently dropped my watch at RSC NYC and told them i did not have a problem with them polishing it.

You're not going to polish it down or destroy the watch if the person who's doing it is skilled and experienced.

Is that not what the OP is doing by asking the question on the worlds foremost Rolex forum?
