Basel 2018 releases
Had a great time at my local AD Basel preview party tonight. Here are some pics of the new ones. I will post separately so they can be quoted individually.
New Pepsi was exactly how I imagined it. Overall, solid but if you already own a vintage Pepsi, I don’t think think you need this one. If you’ve always liked a Pepsi but prefer 6 digits, then you will love this new BLRO. Biggest surprise was the YG Sky D rhodium dial. Loved it! Biggest disappointment was the new RG GMTs. Uninteresting to me but others seemed to like them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Looks Rose Gold to me, but great colour combo with the rhodium dial!! Pity my budget cannot accommodate.
But the big question is how did it feel on the wrist, did it feel balanced/comfortable? That is quite a lot of precious metal sitting there...

I don't know if it's just the lighting, but kinda underwhelmed with the actual real life pic of the CHNR. they look so beautiful when captured by professional photographers, but here, it's meh. The Skydweller dial is beautiful

not a fan of anything enough to bite this year. i would consider a pepsi but ill never get one because paying a 50% premium just isnt gonna happen. i can get a 15450 or 15300 for the same price if not less.
i think the releases were pretty good though, not dogging rolex here.

Thanks for the pics, apart from the over-yellowed one of the RG GMTc which happens sometimes in ADs. Think the SkyD and CHNR TT look promising.
