Anyone ever strip the threads on your Luminor lugs?

I know I'm being overly worried, but I have a 422 with many straps. I have been changing straps almost daily (pretty carefully, mind you). My mind got to wondering, how easy is it to strip the lug threads? Has got to be costly to repair.

Never in nearly 16 years. Rule number one of any screw, go backwards until you feel the threads mesh and then proceed to tighten. If you do that you’ll never accidentally cross-thread/strip.
