AP Royal Oak Jumbo 5402ST B-series

Thinking about potentially picking up this piece purely from a collectors point of view. Always wanted a Royal Oak in my collection and this one has the AP logo at the 6 oclock.

It's going on auction this weekend. Considering it's coming up to nearly 50 years old I'm surprised it has held up as well as this has.

Watch only, no box no papers. Apparently never been polished, so I would definitely enquire about authenticity and service history, but nothing much else crosses my mind.

What would you ask the auctioneer?

Is it running? Might take a while to have it serviced by AP, which is probably a must.

That’s a service dial, but it’s at least an older one with the correct font, etc. Original dial would just say “Swiss”.
