Absolutely no way. It’s a standard Royal Oak that is nice, but these 15500s are batsh*t crazy priced right now.

I’d hold on to those Daytonas…

I would never make a trade with a dealer. I don’t see how that can ever benefit the client. Ever

I voted no but I would rather have the AP any day. I would sell both Daytona’s at today’s inflated prices and buy the Ap outright.

Have you checked out the more modern, incredible world-record movement too, Bvlgari Octo FS? I needed higher WP of their 100m model. Seriously, check it out, and how the butterfly clasp goes into the bracelet... I fell in love instantly with the Octo FS than the now old-ish design still sold by AP. See them both in person....... compare.

Anyway.

Why trade two ubiquitous "in" watches against another ubiquitous "in" watch?

A bold move for whales with balls would be to dump the Daytonas in exchange for a nice collection of yellow gold/white face/roman numbers/black croc strap PPs.

Definitely not although not a fan of the modern Daytona even less a fan of any of the RO range both great movements but dont like the RO style. And two watches for one IMO is never a good idea, irrespective of todays hyped perceived value.

I have a blue 15500 from a boutique but have no Daytona. I wouldn’t trade it for a Daytona. If I had a Daytona, I would not trade it for AP RO. Certainly not two.

AP went massively downhill for me after their Marvel collab. I am happy and my bank is happy that I no longer value the brand anymore.

2 SS Daytona = 15500OR with full RG bracelet (not 15500ST) would be a better deal for you.

You let the release of that watch (which for the record I also don’t care for) negatively affect the way you feel about watches you previously liked? That’s so bizarre to me.

I really dont like that watch, so I should no longer value my 15202? Haha.

If you no longer like the daytonas, yes. Otherwise no. All great watches

Hard pass. First off, has to be blue. Second, only give up one if you must own the AP.

Haha

Well obviously we’re joking around, but I’m really curious, you no longer value the brand because of one blunder?

I am not a Daytona fan but I still don’t see the value in the AP so don’t do the trade. At this point, you can sit on the Daytona’s watching the market for any sign of falling and then trade them for what ever you want to try. I personally would look more PM Rolex for a trade direction.

Trade one, not both. FWIW, the 15500 feels far more special than the 116520s.
