Tiffany & Co - dial stamp?

There are some cases where I think it looks okay, not great. The 5712 is one of those that can pass because it's positioned discreetly. I think unless you're looking for it, it can go unnoticed with the busy dial. As a side note I love this dial, both 5712 and the "r"

If you've got something like the 5711, I'm not a fan bc it's already stunning as is with that CLEAN dial and I think it clutters a dial that's like a work of art with all of the diff shades

If it weren't for Patek Philippe's split second timing, all of the employees at Tiffany & Co. would fall flat on their faces.

I have a 5712/R Tiffany dial. It should come with a Tiffany bag, an extra Tiffany blue box over your Patek box and a smaller blue box with the watch in it. The stamp dial is done by Patek itself, and the sales certificate is issued by Tiffany.

For Patek and Tiffany, they practically grew together, the ethos of both companies intertwine and influences each other. I also think that he t dial should be discreet and not too in your face.

Is it worth it? Personally yes, it gives an added element of history, heritage and partnership. With Haute Horology history and heritage ranks very high in my considerations.

So what would you guys think about Patek watches double stamped with the "Beyer" logo??

The Beyer/Patek relationship outdates Tiffany by 12(!) years.

The Patek/Beyer relationship was established 1839

The Patek/Tiffany relationship was established in 1851

There was never a movie called "Breakfast at Beyer's"
Perhaps this would explain the weird infatuation with Tiffany dials, as it would explain why the Beyer stamped dials are far more rare and yet dont carry the absurd premiums that some of the Tiffany dials do.

Just as I do not hold a particular preference for Domino's stamped Rolex dials, I dont have any particular preference for any other third party names on my watch dials.
Looks like Lewis (Tiffany) was a bit jealous of Mr. Beyer

Funny this thread is still going, I was offered a 5167A tiffany dial brand new just today.
I was hoping for a 5711 but they offered this instead.
If anyone is interested in one let me know :)

Beyer means as much to me as Tiffanh does which is zero! I think I did bud in a Beyers 250 Anniversary PP 5170 only because of the 5170. Anyway I its out and it went for $56000 excluding commission. It did have an engraved spare case back so not directly comparable but seems people like Beyer as well!

I don't like it or hate it, though I would prefer without, but can understand if someone prefers it with the stamp, on the 5712 it is barely visible but on some it is more and that would bother me, depends a lot on the type of dial clearly

I am a fan, the Tiffany & Co. stamp isn't something too flashy and does not disrupt the design of the watch at all..

Having it makes the watch more special in my eyes, personal preference of course.

I personally see no need to pay full price or close to it because it says Tiffany or Beyer on a current standard production model. Now a Vintage Rolex that says Tiffany is a different story IMO. The one thing I do love about this particular 5170 is the fact that they chose to make the tach go all around the dial which looks awesome. I wish they would've used this initial layout for all 5170s. The doctor's pulsation scale is not my cup of tea on the 5170J and 5170G White Dial and I do not like the fact that they omitted the tach on the current production models. I hope for the 5170 P they bring back the tach and make it completely around the dial. Just my 2¢

I can care less about the tiffany dial, i guess is just about status and resale
