pfff this is the question killing me... I like the dial of 5370p with breguet numbers but in the same time I feel like I would add a little bit more and get 5204p with perpetual calendar... Can't decide...

5370 is in my opinion a much nicer watch.
The 5204 doesn't sing to me and I think that the batons are too prominent

Just reviving this a bit as I'm considering adding one of these to my collection.

Anyone have up to date recent insight on the watch?

I have handled it few times, the enamel dial is very beautiful. I prefer the 5370P to the 5204P. However my favourite split second chronograph is 5372P which I don't have a budget at the moment.

I have been following recent auction results and both 5370P and 5204P were going significantly below MSRP

Many many congrats. It is the most stunning piece I have ever tried on.
Here’s a picture I took to on my wrist to help the time pass. (plus some movement porn).

Wow! Thx for the incredible pix...I can't wait!! My fav patek is the 5270R so I'm hoping this kicks it up a notch from that. Not to say I don't love all my pateks!

I tried on a 5204P and it's too thick IMO. Looks like a Patek, operates like a Patek, but didn't feel like one on the wrist. I'd worry about the 5370P for the same reason. I have 7.75" wrists, so it's not like a couldn't get away with wearing something 14mm thick, but part of the allure of Patek to me is packing a huge punch in a compact design. The 5950R is over 3mm thinner than the 5370P, so clearly they can get it done.

I actually prefer a heavy'ish watch so welcome a larger footprint and weight.

Im wearing a Rolex wg sub right now and love the feel of it.

On the wrist the 5370 is a perfect match of width and thickness. Then turn it over and the movement has superb 3D depth.

The weight isn’t my concern. I enjoy wearing my platinum Daytona regularly, which feels like a boat anchor on my wrist compared to my other watches, but it’s still the same thickness as the ceramic Daytona. I don’t want people to get the impression I dislike these watches, I was just surprised these masterpieces didn’t hug my wrist like the other Patek’s I own.

One of the most interesting modern Patek references. In a world less obsessed with sport watches this would be pure unobtainium. Congrats!

It’s absolutely perfect
My favorite Patek now by a mile
It feels perfect on the wrist
It’s very classy and elegant yet complicated
If only my lousy iPhone took better pix

Congrats! So your AD was able to get one in under a month’s time? Looking fwd to pics. I have to post all my pics via tapatalk app on my phone . I am 38 years old and thought I was somewhat technologically advanced and don’t know how to resize or format them properly when on the actual website

Huge congrats and looking forward to your pics. Easiest way to post pics is with Tapatalk (which I rarely use), or on a Mac to drag a pic to your desktop, open and adjust size. Kind of a PITA.

I guess your platinum Daytona is now your beater chrono!

Great to hear! I thought it was extremely special when I tried one on, too. IIRC, you wanted a 5270p. Does the addition of the 5370p change your wish list?

Congrats again and post up some pics!
