Another vote to retain the SD. My bias? I've got the Sea-Dweller 4K...I liked its classic proportions and its contemporary features (ceramic bezel, updates to the bracelet, etc.). The "Hulk" never appealed to me at all...strictly a matter of personal taste, as that watch surely has a following.

If only have one daily watch besides the PP, then SD. If you have another SS watch the keep the Hulk.

I like both as they are quite different but would need to let one go. SD4K (2017) and Hulk (2014). I just need one utilitarian watch.

Any thoughts from the community?

Cheers.

Bye bye Hulk

I prefer to have different color watches because I like to match my clothes. Further, I like nearly everything in black and almost nothing in green, including clothes. Easy choice for me personally, SD4K.

The SD4K was a real one-off. First and last of the ceramic-bezelled SD's in 40mm, the last SD without a cyclops, totally unique case that was only used for that one model.
All of the above, understated, timeless and rarer with a production run of only 3 years.

I have both the Hulk and SD4K. I would never sell the SD4K, it's the best modern stainless sports watch Rolex has ever produced IMO.

The SD4K is too thick for its size, because it's a 3 year production people who own it are trying to hype it. It has no cyclops thus no real Rolex DNA, and its proportions are off. 40 size and over 15 thick is ridiculous. Suddenly now it's the best diver Rolex ever made. The SD43 and Hulk are the best divers Rolex ever made in my opinion.

I'd keep the SD4K. I prefer the new ceramic Kermit over the Hulk. I own the SD4K and while it's a great watch, it is a bit top heavy for me and a bit thick and due to that I've considered trading it, but it's such a great looking watch, simple, under the radar with so many great features such as the slimmer case and glidelock that it's hard to let go. I don't anticipate any of these watches making us wealthy in the future, so hyping for investment purposes is not something I'm into. Best of luck with whichever you choose to keep and share some pics of the new watch when you get it.

You should be keeping both and finding cash elsewhere. Otherwise tough call, SD4k you wouldn't get a good offer in today's market, maybe 11-12? Hulk has dropped but has the potential to go up to the 30s something SD4k is unlikely due to the nicheness of it. I'd keep the hulk.
