SD4K diver extension -- can it be removed?
I bought mine at AD in Bangkok. They said the diver extention can't be taken off as it is a part of clasp.
However, I saw from many people here had it removed. So, is it safe to have it removed? I'd appreciate your comments. |

Yes I have it off, and it's far more comfortable without it.

Yes, I took mine off when I peeled off the stickers, most agree it's more comfortable. It makes no difference to the functionality of the bracelet or clasp, it just means that you don't have the dive extension in place

Why my AD didn't want to remove it?

SD4K diver extension -- can it be removed?
I heard the same thing when I picked mine up last summer. Finally had the extension removed a few months ago and it made a gigantic difference. Now it's perfect! 👍

Very easy to remove and yes, I have mine off for comfort reasons too!! I do not know why but the screws are always much tighter on the extension than the links (just an observation)

Yes it can be removed, I've worn mine both with and without it, and it definitely wears better with it removed. It also depends on where the glide lock is positioned, the divers extension can cause the band to sit awkwardly on your wrist.

Kept the diver's extension on for a week and found it quite annoying on my small wrist. After removal the watch was much more comfortable to wear.
