I think both are awesome but from my experience with 5 digit vs 6 digit Rolex all I can say is that glidelock makes a world of difference in terms of comfort. I was never able to get a “perfect” fit with micro adjustments, I have achieved that with glidelock.

⬆️⬆️⬆️ Agree with this gentleman! If $ aren’t an issue...I’d personally go 6 digit!
Although there’s no wrong answer, it personal preference, and both are excellent!

I’m aware of the differences but I’m wondering if it’s worth paying extra for the SD4K?
(I especially like the SD4K oversized indexes and the full minute markers on the Cerachrom bezel but I’m unsure if that will justify the difference in prize?)

Please chime in with advices.

Thanks.
5 digit for me.

Perfect proportions and the last true "tool" diver Rolex made.

No, the bracelet isn't as solid as the 6 digits and the clasp lacks the glidelock, however the bracelet (unless worn out) is very comfortable and stronger than any human will ever need, and the clasp can be adjusted in seconds with nothing more than a toothpick.

The only consideration I would have that no one has mentioned is that the bracelet has 5 fixed links on the 6 O'clock side on the 5 digit sea dweller compared to 4 fixed links on the 6 digit reference, so if your wrist is on the smaller side you may want to try before your buy.
