Enough to buy it?

Maybe at a deep discount, like 50% off...

On second thought, still too much money for a once a year, July 4th watch. I'll pass.

I actually think it's ok, except for the 007 second hand. The SMP 300m is Omega's next model to be flooded with several versions/special editions.

I really dislike the seconds hand. I've really never been a Seamaster fan.

I am a fan of the movies (especially since Daniel Craig signed on).

I think they should put all the 007 branding on the back of the case only so that only the wearer knows it is a special edition...after all Bond is a "secret agent"!

A navy blue rubber strap would have made this watch.

Up to the Highest Bidder

I was in a boutique located in Orange County, CA., two weeks ago when the salesman showed me the watch. He brought it out and presented the watch as if were the Queen's Jewels. He explained to me that it would be a collector's watch and sell for more than the MSRP. He related it was a limited production and they already had multiple people interested. It's not my cup of tea. I think someone called it hideous and I have to agree.

I just saw one in person.

It's actually a really nice watch. I quite liked it.

Still not for me tho.

7007 pieces, whilst technically limited, shouldn't be exactly difficult to get a hold of either. Especially looking like that! I would expect Toys R Us to be selling it.

Went to Omega AD today and was shown the Commander watch. I noticed he was wearing a quartz 2541.80. Of the two, I told him my preference was his watch. Go figure.

Absolutely horrible. Omega's brand is becoming laughable these days.

A very naff and ugly watch. I hate the whole Bond/ Omega connection. It tarnishes the brand in my opinion.

Its different alright. But sometimes different is good. If it keeps you interested in collecting, then why not?

Put a stainless bracelet on and add a date magnifier and I might consider it.

What is it with the 007 on the second hand that is such an annoyance? Do you feel the same way about Snoopy on the special edition Speedmaster dials? Are you against Ball and Zenith also for putting their logo on their second hands?

Actually - yes, against all those things. Would love a zenith chrono but not with the star on there.

I agree that the 50th Anniversary Edition looked better overall as it was understated and classy with the black dial. But hey watches are subjective, each will have its own meaning to anyone who wears them.. I for one can't wait to get this on my wrist. I love the color scheme and love that there are so many haters, as I most likely won't run into anyone else wearing the same watch. I love my Tudor's and Rolexes as well, GMT BLNR and the Tudor Pelagos LHD - excellent watches. I am a huge Bond fan definitely biased but like I said, to each their own! I love it.

This was my sentiment as well after seeing it in the metal. I thought it looked a lot better live and pics do it a disservice. The ivory dial is pretty slick and the gold rotor on the movement is cool and unique.

It doesn't tick my personal boxes. However, after seeing it, I can understand why others are happy picking it up.
