First Patek! 5167a

About a month or so ago I posted to see if anyone local to Charlotte NC had an Aquanaut that I could see and try in the flesh. The local AD hasn't had one for quite a while and the list is several folks deep to get one.

Long story short I just decided to pull the trigger. So many reviews about this watch being quite comfortable and perfect. I figured all you guys couldn't be wrong.

Arrived today, I sized it when I got home this evening and man...it lived up to the expectations...and more.

I am very happy with my first Patek!

Well done on make a bold move – looks like it’s paid off for you, and hopefully it continues to do so.

Mike, I live in Winston-Salem and purchased a 5167 from Windsor a couple of years ago. I absolutely love it!

Congratulations! Maybe we can get together sometime.

I mean if your wrist is within a normal range or smaller side (like mine) it's a no brainer. And you had us all telling you. I would not recommend not trying on for a majority of watches out there but aquanaut and nautilus are very very classic watches that just work.

Congratulations.

I would agree, all the other pieces I have acquired I've at least had the opportunity to see in the flesh and try on. But I'm happy I did, it's a great watch.

Congrats! I did the same although was able to test the waters with 5167r and 5164 before pulling the trigger. That was back when 5167s were sitting in stock along with many other watches lol

Thank you for all the well wishes and congrats! Plan on wearing it all weekend to determine if I need to take one more "notch" out of the strap.

Congrats! Wear it looser than tight. I'd recommend a year's use before cutting the strap again.
