eBay Buyer BEWARE!!!!

eBay seller " lsayers17" from Bourbonnais, IL is selling a GMT Master II LN and is trying to get folks to purchase via PayPal direct in a shady way. I sent money via Goods / Services and he then refunded it immediately THREE TIMES, then stating I needed to send it as Friends & Family, etc., etc., etc.

He is also selling a Daytona 116520 2014 model full set that's currently at $11,300 and my assumption is the same thing will happen once auction is complete. Even after I sent payment the eBay auction was never taken down.

Luckily I'm safe and not a complete idiot but want anyone out there to beware in case you're bidding on these two watches. They are in very good condition with complete sets, if they even exist that is.

Why can't people just be human beings with a little ethical prowess? I will never understand some people.

Hmm...he has 100% positive feedback and you have not demonstrated any. Maybe he was suspicious of you and wanted to protect himself.

Possibly a hijacked ebay acct. Something seems off. No history of selling anything of value.

Nothing get's by Adam.

Run far away and report it to Ebay is the best course of action.

Thank you all! I've been on the phone with PayPal a few times today and they stated to say far away. He's called me no less than 20-25 times today alongside about 15+ txts asking for payment because he "shipped the watch and is getting ripped off".

Again, thank you for the help. It never felt right in my gut which rules how I make decisions. I will report to eBay.
