Agree that Narcos is a great show. I also recommend Godless as it's beautifully filmed. I'm just through a couple of episodes, but I'm hooked already.

Just watched the first three episodes of Designated Survivor. Very impressed so far.

Black Mirror. New 6 episodes/season coming soon. These shows can be disturbing as they deal with technology's future impact on society, but extremely well done with top notch actors.

If you like gangster movies and can stomach subtitles, then I highly, highly recommend two tv series. And even if you don't, I still recommend them
1) Gomorrah the TV series, not the movie- it's been compared to an Italian version of The Wire, Breaking Bad, Sopranos, etc. Season 1 is flat out amazing. I don't binge watch usually but I just had to binge watch this. All the characters in season 1 have compelling storylines and it's a fresh take on the gangster genre, at least from an American point of view. The Savastano clan are not the charming Goodfellas, the lovable Sopranos, or the romantic Corelones. They get their business done. By any means necessary. The shocking thing is that some of the story lines are actually pulled from real life stories. Season 1 is amazing, season 2 is slower but oh boy the end of it is a cracker. 2) Suburra the TV series- there is a movie by the same name, but was not a fan of the movie's plot- looked good, soundtrack was good but nothing jaw dropping. The TV series? Much, much better. It's a slow start as the series sets up the story, but once the main characters- 3 men- 2 gangsters from rival gangs and the son of a police officer start working together, then it pulls you in. I'd say the strength of the series rests with the relationship between the three and the plot twists and acting are very, very good. |

Any of the shows I would recommend have already been mentioned above but two good documentaries I watched recently were
Icarus In the shadow of the moon. I thought both were very good and worth a look. If you're into the Olympics and want to ever watch it again without questioning the integrity of the whole thing I probably wouldn't watch Icarus.

Watching Hatfield’s and McCoy’s now. I’ve already watched it twice before.

Hello,
Would also like to second(or third) Blacklist and Stranger Things. Sherlock is quite good too. I've also recently started Longmire and enjoy it so far. |

Line of Duty is awesome, gets better and better and series 4 is probably the best, I envy you! Enjoying the new series of Peaky Blinders, Adrien Brody is really channelling Brando's Godfather as he chews up the scenery. Tom Hardy in series 2 and 3 was awesome. |

Had a binge of Dark at the weekend. Thought it was very good.
I found it best to watch with subtitles and the original German sound as the dubbing was rubbish! Sci Fi type stuff |

I also a huge fan of Shameless. Season 8 just started on Showtime but I believe the first 7 seasons are available on Netflix. I still enjoy this show after 8 seasons.

Another vote for Black Mirror, it is amazing and so glad to hear more episodes on the way.
Historia de un clan is one of my all-time favourites. It is based on a true story re an Argentinian family in the 1980's who kidnapped people to survive. It is beautifully acted and shot and really evokes the time very well, as well as portraying the startlingly evil father (he is an absolute ba****d) brilliantly. And there is plenty of eye candy for both sexes too :) |

I just started “Line of Duty” last night. Got through episode two and finally went to sleep. Awesome! Highly recommend it to any coopers on here.
I had to turn on the English subtitles to understand what they were saying. |
