AP Royal Oak 15300OR vs. Rolex Daytona 16528

Hi All,

I'm considering both of these watches to celebrate a significant life milestone. I currently own Rolex Daytona 116520 with a while dial.

The AP is the version with black tapisserie dial, with box & papers and appears to have been polished.

The Daytona is also the black dial version, without box & papers and also appears to have been polished. The serial number puts it around 1992 production.

Both are priced on the high end, but Daytona seems more aligned with what I'm seeing on WatchMart, Chrono24, etc.

I love the look of both watches and they both wear well. The AP would be a good addition because it's a departure from the current Daytona in my collection. With a purchase of this size, I'm also trying to be mindful of resale value down the line if required.

Interested to hear opinions and how these watches may hold up over time!
