I heard you can even cook lobster in a dishwasher! Suggestion: Use lemon scented detergent.

If a little $200 Gopro can, hope a mighty Rolex can hack it!

I reckon Sheldon on his Minus 4 Plus 6 website has the right idea on how to clean a bracelet (see link below)

How about strapping it to the roof-rack and driving through the carwash?

Just put it in the utensil basket and it should be fine.

The trick is enticing the lobster to get in there in the first place.

Just regular DIY jobslike drilling holes, painting and working on my bicycles.
When I cook or bake the watch goes of.

I noticed that even with a toothbrush I still can't get everything out especially around the pins and then I wondered if the dishwasher would the trick.

And I do clean it once or twice a year with an ulrasonic cleaner.

Of course I would only use a Miele or Gaggenau!
And we have a Miele

No. I handwash my stuff as well. Maybe once a year, I'll put the bracelets in the UC. Dishwashing detergent is extremely harsh, and I think the OP's original idea is nutty.
