wouldn't cape cod/diamond paste affect the AR coating? Or is it only coated on the inside?

haha thanks guys for all the insightful responses!

I am going to just leave it for now as it is relatively small and unseen on normal lighting conditions. I took a razor to it to see if it was something stuck to the crystal but not it is a scratch I can feel it when passing the blade over it.

Anyways no biggie was just shocked because I didnt even remember hitting the watch on anything and like I said my Seamaster I have hit that thing hard on many items and never a scratch.

But this would be a nice occasion to get another watch, too bad the wife does not agree with that argument lol

If I get adventurous I might try polishing it one day otherwise like mentioned no rush I can always have it serviced down the road, no plans on getting rid of the watch anytime soon.

there's only AR coating only on the inside of the cyclops lens only... the other parts of the crystal do not have an AR coating..
