Incoming 126622

I like the rhodium dial so much (bought 3 weeks ago) that I get the blue version as well, lol

Congrats.... BUT, not sure if it’s that important to you, but that looks like a 116622 to me.

Nice to see both variations next to one another. I personally think the blue is the best.

The Yachtmaster has a new reference no. 126622 (look at the Rolex website).

The new reference refers to the 3235 movement which replaced the 3135. This is usually evidenced by the small crown at 6'oclock between "Swiss" and "made" on the dial in all watches with the new movement (except the first release of SD43s and DJ41s)

The OP's watches don't have the crown between "Swiss" and "made" and are probably 116622s.

Congrats! I love the YM, such a classic.

And I think that both are the 116622 for the reasons above. Nevertheless, it is an amazing watch.

I know about the new 6 o'clock crown but as you said some first batches don't have it and maybe this Yachtmaster is also a first batch.

OP mentioned the new ref.no. for his Yachtmaster so I believe he will be right and my reaction was to the post mentioning the old ref.no.

OP corrected himself ... all YM w the new movement have the crown between Swiss and made .

What’s the difference between a submariner and a yacht master—they seem to have the same bezel functionality.

Beautiful pieces.

Submariner, uni-directional bezel
Yacht-Master, bi-directional bezel (like the GMT-Master)
