I’ve clearly got an Indie problem

Just couldn’t pass up adding another Independent manufacturer to my collection. Urban Jurgensen Big 8 in stainless joins a Laurent Ferrier and a Moser to round out my independent side of my collection.

It’s such a lovely watch and super comfortable!

Sorry for the horrible pic.

Excellent pickup, the finishing and guilloche work are phenomenal. UJ are criminally underrated.

I agree and the Big 8 has an attractive price point in comparison to a lot of the other independents out there.

That is a pretty watch. My only concern with indies is servicing...how do you turn one in for servicing, just mail it to the company?

The ref. 8 is based on a modified and highly hand finished version of the excellent F. Piguet 1160 caliber. So can in theory this can be serviced by any good watch maker.
