Any dermatologists in the house.

I'm after some sites I can see some skin complaints to see what I may have. 4 general practitioners don't know and I can't see a specialist until next week....pics on request

Folliculitis. Lots of docs miss it, and try to treat with antibiotic.
Scrub the affected area three times a day with Hibiclens. Pat dry. Stop touching it!

Just wanted to add, without naming names, two people from the thread PM'd me with really long and detailed explanations of what the problem may be.

It's amazing how complete strangers took the time and trouble, and really helped me with this, which whilst not a debilitating problem, is really miserable and bringing me down.
