Interesting - quick question - I don’t see a small diamond in the bezel at 6 o’clock as described. Do you see it?

From the description...
“the case differs from the steel with more prominent polished bevels and the small diamond set in the bezel at 6 o'clock”

I was offered one back in 2017 for £185k (grey dealer). I was not interested at that price especially as the 40th was available for £82K. Lovely piece.

Hi Russel, do you still have yours? You normally take great shots and wondered why I hadn’t seen you post about this!?

Per Sothebys:

https://www.sothebys.com/en/auctions.../lot.2272.html

"the case is fitted with a diamond at 6 o'clock like all modern platinum Patek watches"

I would have to correct my statement to the little pimple dot on the case...

Also, yes, that was the picture i was referring to.

Thanks

I found a photo at WatchProSite comparing the 5711P to the A version and I understand why it was hard to see...

No, but still beautiful.

I think we had three lucky owners on here, at least from what I remember. One is banned, one is not posting anymore and the third is still around.

If I recall correctly yes it fits into the foam piece that holds the watch. There’s a cutout for it. Unless I’m thinking AP...they might both have that method except APs come sealed more like an Apple product.

Are the blues exactly the same? The WG seems more vibrant?

I'm sure the 5740 copied the blue from anniversary

But I'm sure a better pic could tell us
