Need help identifying this Patek

Hey forum members, I am curious if someone can help identify this Patek for me. It is an heirloom piece of my friend and we are having trouble finding the specific model outside of possibly being a 3455 from the 60s or 70s. Also, unable to identify the dial from the internet. Very curious on any feedback. Last thing I want to do is open the case back. Thank you for all the feedback!

It doesn’t look correct to me - especially that date wheel being off.

Not a case design I’ve seen in a 3455 and I believe those also were 3-hand movements without a subsidiary dial for running seconds. The recessed crown is unusual too.

But let’s see what some better minds think.

Agree that the case looks like a 3445 but if so the lugs have been polished to death. The kink on the top side of the lugs is all but gone and they look narrower than they should. Never seen a 3445 w dark dial or roman numerals though. Call up HSWA in New York and see if they can help.

open it up get case and movement number and ask for extract from PP geneva- ask specifically for dial details. I have never seen one like that but it does not mean they do not exist

Julian

PS yes case is over polished

It's a 3445 and looks good to me. No need to open it up but I'd like to see the caseback as well if you have other images.

Lots of dial variations with the 3445 and while yours is very uncommon, there's nothing about it would make me question its authenticity.

A very nice heirloom piece - send it for rountine service and wear it in good health!

To me looks like a fake 3445 but I’m certainly no expert, not by a long shot.
