78790A clasp on 78360 bracelet?

I have a 78360 bracelet on my 16710 but I would prefer a locking clasp. The obvious options would be to replace the bracelet with a 78790 or 93150 bracelet. From this thread I learn that a 78790 clasp could go on the 78360 bracelet. From this thread I learn that a 78790A bracelet could replace the 78360 just as well as a non-SEL 78790.

But what about putting a 78790A clasp on a 78360 bracelet? I haven't found anything while doing my research to say that it would or would not be possible.

To pre-empt the obvious question, I am considering this course of action because I have seen a 78790A clasp for sale for a reasonable price whereas I haven't found a 78790, 79790A or 93150 bracelet or a 78790 or 93150 clasp for a price I like.
