Problem with Submariner Crown
I have a 2007 submariner which on several occassion over the past several months I have had problems pulling the crown out to set time or set the date. I have to unscrew and screw back in several times before I'm able to get the crown to then "pop" out once I pull on it. Is this an issue that requires service?

What's happenning is there's a setting wheel that meshes with the calendar quick set bridge gear and it's dry so when you pull the stem out the gears instead of sliding by eachother and meshing are hitting point to point and not letting the setting mechanism finish it's travel to time setting. Time for service the more you try to pull and set things can get bent and out of alignment. One of the 3135's little idiosyncracies. Send it on down. Rik

Thank you so much. I thought this was more difficult than it needed to be. Appreciate the expert advice.
