Another 26240CE incoming
Seems AP is handing these out like candy
Managed to pick it up in the middle of a 10 day, 20000 mile business trip. Perfect timing and perfect service by the team at AP. Quite the transformation in the course of 40min: Nothing quite like AP black ceramic (promise I'll post some better pictures eventually): Some quick observations: Unlike the 15416, only the 8 or so removable links have holes (on one side). As I was warned, a special tool is required to change links - no DIY here. The bracelet links do not taper in thickness, unlike for the current steel and gold bracelets. I find the gold and steel 26240 a bit chunky, but the black ceramic hides that quite well, in terms of optics and weight. Overall, awesome day and awesome watch |

Beautiful, congrats! And I love that you were wearing the Omega/Swatch beforehand. Typical WIS move, which we see, appreciate, and applaud. :)

It was a 2H 2022 release and came in rather late. This is the final allocation with the 50th rotor and then we're not sure if they will continue the model. My understanding is only 2-3 were given to each boutique. So roughly less than 100 globally made with 50th rotor. It is a very popular and wearable watch vs the QPs so many are hoping it becomes a "production" model in 2023. |
