I do love the diamonds for the same reason....Hopefully Tom will get sick of this one and sell it to me....difficult to find a wg with diamonds. |

Here's mine. As you know I traded up to the 116619 last year. Here is some outside shots and a few others. I preferred not to have the TT bracelets. I have the TT GMT IIc for travel which I totally use and it's a keeper. That makes no sense but for some reason I like the GMT more then the 116613 diamond dial.
I didn't dislike it, it's not an everyday watch for me.

I like it. But then, I have a black 16613 with a diamond string dial, so I would. I probably wouldn't buy the watch with the string dial now, but it was my first Rolex 24 years ago, long before the Internet and TRF.

Do the diamonds add anything of real value? I still can't decide if they are worth the premium

I like it. The diamonds give it some extra pop, especially in the sunlight. Great watch!

I love the sub with diamonds. Out of my 15 watches, only two have diamonds, my OQ DD and my white gold sub. I agree with tom, it adds a specialness to the watch making it unique from my collection. They are subtle and not over the top.
Since I wear non diamond dials 95%, I love to slip the white sub on for a beautiful change of pace. |

No modern day Rolex is rare just some produced in lower numbers, and just because its produced in lower numbers don't mean it will be more valuable.Myself not a fan of diamond watches in mens watches especially the sports range, and although not a fan of precious metal in watches I do like the Blue dial TT subs.

Does anyone like this rare 116613 w diamond dial markers?
Rare vs rarely seen is one way to look at it. Much of today's truly rare vintage prices became so due to low sales numbers in the past.
Ergo, today's rarely seen models and variations could portend future rare vintage status - but that's a very long term investment cycle. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I love it but I like Bling!! Wear it in good health. Some Rolex watches should stand out and a Sub with rocks is one of those pieces.

I prefer the hour markers to the diamonds, but that is just me. If I am going flashy it's gold, not diamonds.

Don't like it much, don't hate it also. I have the Smurf myself (without Stones), but I think that I would prefer it more on the TT Sub. Looks very nice on the pics as seen here.

Not really my style...but I like it. For my money, the sunburst is the way to go with the 116613.
