It is a splendid and lovely piece. I had a shot at one but chose the YG Sub LN instead. The blue dial didn't thrill me (although the blue Pelagos did and I bought that one) and I preferred YG as I wanted to be over the radar so to speak.

I do appreciate the feeling of having "that special watch" whatever it may be.

Love the Smurf, but right now, I’m really digging the meteorite GMT in WG. I don’t own it, but wish I did.

I am loving mine :)

It is really a great watch.

I hope to get the 116718LN green dial and they will form my perfect twin grails

If anyone in NYC is looking for the two-tone version of this watch, the Rolex 116613 LB, let me know. I got a call from my AD that they just got one in yesterday and selling for retail brand new.

It's the essentially the same blue dial, blue ceramic bezel but with stainless steel and yellow gold two-tone bracelet and gold crown. Just PM if you're looking for one.

I try to love the smurf but plain blue dial is just too flat for me.

It certainly is the grail of Subs, I have the YG with black dial, but I would love to see one in platinum. I recently had the opportunity to see a Smurf on a gentleman, and it just took my breath away. The blue color just stood out as the sun shone on it.

I love the flat blue and would not own it if it had a sunburst dial.

As noted above I chose the YG Sub, as did my cat, who is the best cat in the world of course.

I agree with you.

It is the flat blue that make it unique. Both the bezel and dial are the same color tone

Why I think the 116619LB "Smurf" is the best Watch in the World

Agree! A WG black dial sub would be AMAZING

Hello, for me I much prefer the 116619LB (schroumpf) instead of the 126619LB. The blue dial, which is sometimes wet, sometimes flat, is just magnificent.

The black dial makes the watch too bland in my opinion.

So long live the blue, blue smurf.

In addition, now its cost has only increased since the end of marketing.

Too blue - looks like a kiddo watch.

The original black dial/bezel is a better house, but not close to even being the best Rolex.

have you ever seen this watch in real life?
The dial changes color and does not look childish at all.

I have one and have never felt this thing.

I prefer the Black Dial Smurf, Blue Dial Smurf has too much blue.
