Your question was a fair question that I did not take offence or upset at. It is certainly an unhappy event when someone close dies but my Mum was rapidly declining with Alzheimer’s (amongst other ailments) and had had a long and happy life. In the UK the elderly are in a 3 month lockdown. Elderly people (like my 89 year old Dad) are really struggling with the worry and loneliness. I would urge anybody that knows anybody in this position to pick up the phone on a regular basis to help them get through this time and of course ensure somebody is leaving goods/prescriptions for them on a regular basis. |
