Watch out -- Possible hacked account 'mdgrwl'

Hello all,

I'd like to raise some awareness on something that happened while preparing to deal for a watch from a listing in this form by 'mdgrwl' (Matt).

After inquiring about a new Rolex Explorer 2 (#226570) listed by user 'mdgrwl' (Matt) has listed, he offered to sell it to me for 11,000$.

I took a day or two for me to do some due diligence on 'mdgrwl' (Matt) reps in the forum and elsewhere. I then decided to go ahead and buy the watch, but I thought I should call first to clarify some details.

Matt told me that his account was hacked and I've been talking to someone else, as this is not the price he can sell the watch. I hope the compromise is resolved soon and it's only on this forum, but till Matt confirms please be careful folks! Try to call and be careful who are you dealing with; I almost lost 11K :)

Thanks, I've suspended that account and temporarily removed his last few days of listings. He can get in touch with Steve (Lol-x) to verify his account and get back in.

Wow that is pretty scary, thanks for the heads up. With a long time trusted seller, that would have definitely caught someone.

Resolved now. Thanks to the TRF mods & community. My account is now dual factor authentication as well.
