Brand New - Need Advice Please

Hi Forum,
I am brand new to watches in general. I am considering making my first purchase. It is a local sale from a person whom I do not know. The watch is a Hulk. I am attaching a few pictures to get the opinions of people here who know a ton more than I do about these watches. Is there anything about these pictures that signifies if this watch is genuine or a replica? The seller claims to have bought it from a reputable dealer. By the way, the seller tells me that the watch does, in fact, go to “sleep” if not worn in 48 hours. Do replicas do that? Thank you all so much in advance for all replies and opinions. I am in no way looking to hold anyone accountable for their replies, again just looking for the opinions of people much more knowledgeable than myself. Take care.

1) The end links don't seem to fit perfectly like they should do.
2) Date also looks weird (but could be an illusion because of the cyclops).
3) The swing tag in the first photo looks like it's been cut (badly) with scissors. Would never come from Rolex like that.
4) Just got my Rolex box out and am 99% sure the box in your photos is also a fake.

Avoid it like the plague.

Fake
The green is off,box is bad,and the stiching on the card holder is awful. Bracelet is pretty bad too.

Thanks guys. I just picked up on something. The watch I’m looking at buying has the Rolex crown at the 6:00 position on the dial between the Swiss Made printing, which I do not see on any of the Hulk pictures online. Did they put the crown there in certain years or is this a dead giveaway for a fake? Thanks again for the replies and I’d love to hear what everyone has to say.

By the way, are the fakes so good that they actually go to sleep like the real ones do? That’s pretty impressive for a replica.

For some reason my last post didn’t show up, but I noticed a Rolex crown between the words Swiss Made at 6:00 on the dial. No online Hulk pics have this. Did certain years have it or us this a dead giveaway for this being fake? Thanks again

Go to sleep?

They aren't alive dude.

All watches will run out of power reserve whether real or fake.

As mentioned it is difficult to tell just by pictures, you can normally spot a fake by the letters on the dial, any slight abnormally - its a fake.

The '1' on the date looks too far left in the first picture without looking through the cyclops, I wouldn't risk it.

Is the crown at 6:00 a glaring clue? I don’t see it on other Hulks online. Did sone years have this? If not, why would they put it there?

The 6 crown on the dial is an indicator for the latest 32xx movement, so if the model would not have come with a 32xx movement, it would certainly be a tell.

This watch has many things wrong with it; it is not authentic.
