San Francisco Bay Area Get Together Anyone?

I have a good venue... my yacht club. Uber cheap booze and some nights excellent food usually for donation of $5 - $10.

Here's the proposed location: http://mhpyc.org/mariposa_hunters_po...b/contact.html

Date and time proposals anyone?

Do I have to own a yacht? If not, then I'm in.

Sounds good!

I'm a couple hours away, so for me, it would be better on a Friday evening, Saturday at any time or Sunday at any time.

I think most folks would like a Friday afternoon / early evening start but that's just a guess on my part.

No rush right? We can hang till we get a critical mass of say 5 - 10 folks, then we can pull the trigger on a date.

I'll invite Jacek also. He is an absolute gentleman. I'm sure he'll show up if he's in town. Just went to his shop and I have never seen that many watches in my life. I think he's got a more phenomenal inventory than Shreve.

Cheers,

It might not be a good idea to mix alcohol, food and night time sailing. I think most folks are interested in a Fri early evening type thing but it's a thought.

Let's wait for a small critical mass and ask for suggestions. I can arrange for a suitably sized vessel depending on how many we are.

Cheers,

Don't worry, you can't wear more than one at time anyway.

I think we have enough for an SF Bay Area GTG... I will

find dates that are suitable and post them for all to consider.

I'm about 2 hours away as well, so depending on the time, I may be in as well.

I've got a few--including a nice meters-first 5513, courtesy of Jacek--so I'd really like to meet some other enthusiasts. Please keep me in mind. Alternate email address is wristtoys@gmail.com.
