A little far off...BUT ! YORK, PA. 2010 !!!

Let's plan a TRF Get Together for York, Pa. for JUNE, 2010.

The NAWCC National will be here, and the National Watch and Clock Museum is 40 minutes away.

Let's start planning right now. I expect Jocke, JJ, Bubba, Joe, all the folks who attended the Philly, Kentucky, and all other GTG's , and all the other people who regularly post on TRF to attend. Don't forget, Steve, you need to be here too! All the Mods, that includes YOU!

JUNE 2010. NAWCC Nationals. National Watch and Clock Museum.

Let's do it!

That's going to be a tough one as you're competing with the BIG 4th annual NY GTG that takes place May 16......

Do you have a specific date for this, Dan? York is a short drive from D.C. so it should be doable.

would love for you guys to come up! I believe June 16-20 every year for the NAWCC National. I'll double check, but I believe those are correct dates.

Pav: that's great! Meantime, I think that since the Nat'l Watch and Clock Museum(the Museum) is the home of the NAWCC, that we can likely get discounted and coordinated benefits. Also, RGM, a small high-quality manufacturer of watches is in Mt. Joy, Pa., and we might be able to get a tour as they want to sell watches. I doubt we can get a tour of the Rolex School in Lititz, as I think they're off limits to the public. I will continue to push this event as the year goes by....

My Dear Dan,

I think you should consider leaving your law profession for a bright future in event planning. You would be wonderful!

So far our calendar is clear for those dates. But my dance card fills up fast, so the sooner we can lock this in, the better.

Sleepless

I've contacted the executive director of the NAWCC by email, and await his response to confirm location and dates. As soon as I have his reply, I will inform everyone.

Ed, do we really have to dance?

I've also asked the NAWCC Exec. Director if we could take a group of say, 30 people, through the Museum(a tour guide would be fun, eh?). The clocks/watches/ and library are great!
