how shd a rolex fit? also, shd i buy oakley vault?

hey guys, relatively new here. have a question about fit:

i have a pretty small wrist, and like my watches very snug, esp with my rolexes bc of the heavier weight. the AD gave me a hard time when i asked him to adjust my tags today, saying that i shd be fitting the bands so i can still have a finger fit underneath while im wearing it. he said that this will take in account the difference when im wearing it in the summer vs winter.

i was wondering, how shd i be fitting it?

luckily my daytona has a smart link which makes it really comfortable all year around, but how shd i fit my daydate president? or my tags?

also, i was planning on buying the oakley watch vault online. will it fit my rolexes? not sure the size of the watch vaults...

thanks.

You should be able to fit you pinky under the clasp. Otherwise you risk a sweat rash.

Pinky under the clasp with both the clasp and the bottom of your wrist touching. That should give 2" of slide room over your wrist bone. This is how my TAG and Rolex both fit and I absolutely love the feel of a relaxed - yet secure fit.

Its mostly preferenc though. I can never wear a watch that is SNUG on my wrist. Even when I ran track in college I kept my nike watches 2 holes from snug. It just feels uncomfortable to have anything snug on my wrists.

Hope this helps

Yes the Oakley watch vault will work for a Rolex. I have 2 of the small ones and both my SubC and OP fit perfectly in them. Check out the 16th post in this thread for a couple of pics.

It depends on how you like to wear it.
