At least they made multiple versions and not a single on like the gmt... it will be a little more accessible

Really like it too. Think it works better on oysterflex than full pm. I ordered the rg oysterflex version

I absolutely love it. I am hoping for the same luster and feel in person we are getting in pictures. The price point is high but really nothing else was worthy of my attention. The explorer was such a joke.

Personally I find the meteorite dial to look a bit messy, which detracts from legibility in a chrono which already suffered from not being the most legible and usefull chronograph. Sure, most owners probably never use the chrono function, but even telling the time can be difficult at a glance, and even more so on this meteorite dial. It's meh for me.

Funny just the other day I was looking at the meteorite dial Grey Side of the Moon and now this gets released. I think this hits the sweet spot and if only I can get one.

Interesting for sure

If only the subdials were meteorite with black bands similar to the 116500ln aesthetic. That would have been an must have for my collection !

It’s very nice. Bracelet version would be great too. Still awaiting a PM bracelet Ceramic model

I definitely like these Daytona meteorites but if I had my pick, I'd take the BLRO meteorite over any of these any day.

That is a lovely piece I must admit. Crazy wait times at ADs I am told.

I am leaning towards the DD meteorite though. That is sublime too

I dropped my AD an email as I’m in the “queue” for an OF WG Daytona since Sept last year in London- and just asked what they wait time would be for the WG meteorite.

I’ll post back when I hear - but I suspect it might be delivered around year 2056.... :)

IRL I found the meteorite dial GMT close to illegible, but for the word "Rolex" on the dial. The meteorite Daytona is even more crowded & confusing & may be a nice piece of jewelry, but don't be fooled by magnified, sharpened, high contrast/high resolution pix. You could not glance at your watch and have any idea what time it was- well at least I couldn't. Hard pass for me & I have a Black Ceramic & WG OF (steel gray dial) - both of which I can read the time on.

Spoke with my AD about the meteorites and they've only ever recalled getting 1 of the GMT or DD variants in the last few years. I think the scarcity of these Daytonas would be the same, but I'm bullishly hoping they won't

Haha.

Although I disagree. I think this is a great release on its own merits.

Cheers

If it were a full platinum metal bracelet Daytorite - with a black CE bezel and this meteorite dial - it could be the last Rolex I would ever “need” to buy.

I think this and the meteorite GMT can coexist!

And the more I see the WG OF Daytorite, the more I love it. It’s a special dial on a wearable rubber strap. A real home run in my book.

It does have a vintage feel on a recent model IMO.

I have to admit I prefer Pepsi Meteorite for the less busy dial.

More, HK Greys are pricing it in at $466K HKD ~($60,000 USD) before anyone has had it hit the shelves yet.

We'll see if this holds, I don't believe it until I really see it listed.

AFAIK it's all pump and dump stock that doesn't exist yet.

They're trading the future value.
