Stunning. In a gorgeous spot, but with plenty of life ahead. I say drink one one soon (preferably with me ) and save the other.

Shared a 1999 Opus with a friend recently and it was both of our WOTN, and has some stiff competition.

Ive always been a chardonnay guy and wife is the red queen... I may go to the dark side now! It lived up to the hype, I remember the Opus vs Opus One law suits decades ago..

Simply...The Wine Thread

Shared this with some friends over the weekend. It took some time to open up but it was great once it did!

We go there quite a bit and I'm a member at Adelaida. Give them a try. Also nearby - Halter Ranch and DAOU. Both great!

DAOU and Adelaida were some of our favorites as well.

Something new at dinner last night. Not at the top of my list but not a bad bottle by any means!

Tonight’s the birthday dinner...

When I need to use one, I take out one bought from Home Goods. Nothing fancy but does the job, wide bottom for more air contact.

For special occasions, I take out a Riedel Amadeo. It’s a bitch to clean

Its debatable perhaps but for me Coche is the single greatest modern producer of white Burgundy. Especially with the premox downfall of Leflaive

That my friend makes two votes for Coche. Their Perrieres was my white burg epiphany wine.

Cheers
