Any buyers of TSLA at these levels for a long term hold? I wish I got on it earlier.

Not me. I am waiting for a second run up and will be shorting.

No way their product and productivity can support their current price.

I wish I bought earlier too. Ironically some folks of TRF lambasted me months ago for suggesting it.

But if I had it today, I’d be selling. For certain. And I’d be thrilled.

I actually put in a short order on it Tuesday and cancelled it before it got filled. If it had gotten filled, I would likely have sold it at the peak that day to cut my losses (I am a real scaredy-cat when it comes to shorting) however it hindsight if I had kept the short until yesterday's close, I would have made enough (pre-tax) to buy a new watch. You know, a little watch, like an OP.

No way am I going long on TSLA unless it's a day trade. And even then, it's really like gambling.

Hoping BMS hits 70 in the upcoming months. That would be a nice cash out.

Have some separate units underwater and need them to hit 78 which would be an all-time high by year end -- not looking good for those.

Take a look at PENN. I picked a little up last week the day after the Barstool purchase. Been great so far.

OK, I looked it up. Surprised that Larry hasn't chimed in (he must be busy).

Apparently the FDA has delayed the final review results on HRTX's new drug for 3 months, until June. That doesn't mean that they won't approve it or that they're having trouble or really anything else than they need more time. For all we know, the project manager is out on maternity leave.

So the stock took a little dip after hours.

I suggest watching it and looking for a good entry point.

Of course, before doing that you should review this thread for my past suggestions and note that I am almost always very consistently wrong.

See? You snooze, you lose.

Great to see it up so much on a down day (for the rest of the market).

Warren Buffett interview highlights: ‘Good’ when stocks fall, likes Apple a lot, coronavirus impact

Buffett closed the CNBC interview saying his long-term outlook remains unchanged.

“We’re buying businesses to own for 20 or 30 years. We buy them in whole, we buy them in parts ... and we think the 20- and 30-year outlook is not changed by the coronavirus.”

Always someone on the other side of the trade and always someone with an outlook greater than tomorrow!

Not for me

I sold some Friday and sold more on the opening bounce this morning.

This is going to get far worse for far longer IMHO, so I am raising cash and sitting this one out

The market will recover short-term, but the coronavirus is going to affect the entire world economy, and the market will suffer.

Don't sell at the bottom.

Buy good companies with real earnings and real products. Utilities, pharmaceuticals, stuff that people can't do without.

yep each to their own.

I bought some this morning too, then I sold some this afternoon, not all my positions, but the biggest chunk I've ever sold. But will put it back in as soon as I see a rise. I thought it was going to this morning, but nope. Fooled me for minute. I generally buy more when prices drop, but I don't think it's done dropping yet. Today was a bit much. And that after yesterday, so...

* disclaimer, I have no idea what I'd doing, but also this is fun for me, and a learning experience. I let a professional handle my retirement acct.

I think it’s got more to go.

I’m not buying more until I see a 10% correction.

Not selling either.

Not trying to be flippant or callous but in the long run this Coronavirus is going to make patient investors a lot of money.

One of my financial newsletters pointed out this AM that China has been dumping money (financial stimulus) into the economy, and despite the virus and lockdowns and all that, their equity market is up.

And then just yesterday HK announced that all adults are getting $1200 US as a way to kick-start the economy.

Said newsletter suggests that all major countries will "do what it takes" with stimulus, so yes, do not be surprised if the market goes on a tear.

I can link to it if anyone cares.
