Selling Items Overseas

Hello TRFamily,

I’m currently trying to sell a bottle of Suntory Hibiki 17yr Phoenix edition whisky to a gentleman in Singapore. I don’t have a liquor permit in the USA, but the purchaser is stating he has a business account and can use DHL to ship and he will pay the duty charges on arrival.

He’s referenced a freight forwarder rather than official DHL for shipping the item & will be paying me via PayPal, but are there any other issues I should look out for?

I haven’t seen many ways of shipping whisky other than through a broker, but those seem even harder to navigate. Would you happen to have any tips so I don’t lose out on this?

Thanks in advance!
