Any Recommendations for a Watchmaker in Houston?

Guys/Gals,

Can anyone recommend an experienced watchmaker in the Houston area? I'm just looking for someone dependable who can help with regulating and small jobs.

I've tried one independent that I wasn't happy with and an AD that was fair but I'd love to find someone I can establish a relationship with.

Thanks!

Can't say he has done anything major in repairs for me but he has sold a few watches from my collection for me. He also does other jewelry related stuff for me. Honest and straightforward kind of guy/place.

I would stay away from the Little Watch Shop on Shepherd. They ruined a watch I had about 7 years ago when they failed to replace the gasket on the battery cover.

Try Carcci Fine Jewelry. The owner's name is Albert Medina. He does great work.

Daniel and Co. is also good and they usually have an excellent selection of used/as new Rollies.

Best,

Bob Ridley in Fort Worth is awesome. If you get to that area - would be worth it.

Best,

I've never heard of Carcci Fine Jewelry....hmmm. Just looked them up and I live quite close to them. Thanks for the tip!

I have a little bit of experience with Daniel & Co. and wasn't impressed.

Hi Karis, I had routine maintenance done (CCO) by http://universalwatch.com/ on my 5513 and my wife's Tudor Lady Sub and very satisfied with the job done by Abel. Charges are very reasonable too. He is in Richmond less than a mile from the Galleria area to Beltway 8.

Bob Ridley isn't inexpensive, but he's as good as they get:
