2010 Mercedes E-class spy photos I took today

A friend of mine came over and he told me while coming in to town, he saw a masked MB heading towards us ( I have an 08 E550).

Few hours later we were out in my Tundra getting some parts for a bike project and we saw it on the opposite side of the freeway. We exited and turned around. 10 minutes at 110 mph later, we caught up. Only had iPhones with us, so this is what we got at 70 mph.

The guy never tried to evade or anything. Rear taillights reminded me of the S Class. Actually the whole car reminded me of the current S class. Interior was grey and had the look of the S Class.

Hard to tell, I was in my 08 Tundra 4x4 and thats like driving an apartment... It looked the same size over all, with the doors (steel) rising up higher than in previous W211 (thru 2009). This is the W212 model designation.

price isnt published yet... won't be able to buy one till late 2009..

my sticker on my 08 E550 (5.5 liter 400hp) was $66,000.... usually you can get 3% off... not much more, especially on a new model style.

08 E350 (3.5 liter V-6) starts about $52,000

Man, I wanna live in US for those killer prices... For that money (USD65k) here in Australia we can only buy a BMW 325i max.

Here are the official photos

I think that it is ugly and the worst thing is that it looks like a lexus

It will take some considerable time to grow on me

Thanks, Velitsko, for posting that. Can't see the Lexus comparison, I think it looks more like a baby S Class. Cool.

I dont know why it looks like a lexus to me

I have to see it in real life and only then i'll be able to judge it properly

Truth be told it looks like a proper high class car and i agree on the term baby S-Class

The German media refers to the car as : Die neue business - klasse, which means the new business class and i agree on that

Here are some spy photos of the new interior

Velitsko (Frostie) is right...

"It will take some considerable time to grow on me"
Especially the headlights...

In my honest opinion I think the W140 series made most of an impression n me when it came out... (the big Benz- S class of mid to end '90's)

best, Herman

One of my close relatives has an S 63

What an awesome car

Full of gadgets and power

Actually it's a 6,2 not a 6,3 engine and it is the worlds most powerful V8

I'd seriously consider trading my 300C for a C350 4MATIC, but they don't offer them in the USA

Beautiful car! What a fun ride! But it looks like someone tagged up your license plate!

It's the most powerful normally aspirated V8 at 518 HP.

If anyone likes the S63, I would recommend him to check out the new BMW750i. It maneuvers like a car half its size, thanks to the BMW new Integral Active Steering!

I drove one and the Integral Active Steering is just awesome! Don't read about the articles online or in mags, one has to drive one to feel what I have mentioned.
