I also received a post similar to this a while back. I sent it to the mods and they confirmed it is a phishing scheme. I wouldn't reply to it. Just ignore and don't click on the link.

It would make the most sense if the seller reached out to references first to comment in a specific transaction to a buyer. That way innocent people are not duped into aiding a scam transaction.
