Anyone for Cuckoo-Clocks
My folks brought our family one back from their trip to Germany. It is really outstanding! I am having a ball regulating it via the pendullam. The cuckoo is hand carved and really neat as well as the dancing kids and the guys slamming their brews down on the table as the hours pass. This could be my next collection adiction.

They're OK when they aren't turned on.
I grew up with one of those damn things, and every hour on the hour... all night long... God help me. |

I love mine. I love all clocks and watches. My parents bought mine for me when they were in Germany in 1996. Mine has a slide lever on the side to turn off the bird at night, or whenever.

I actually like them. My father-in-law got one in Germany when he was in the Air Force years ago and it is VERY detailed. It is very complicated with revolving people, little beer drinking mugs that the little people are holding slam up and down on the table, etc etc.. I think it is a Black Forest clock??? The local watchmaker in town said it was VERY HIGH END. You can turn the noise off if you want to, but I wish I had one....

Two Cuckoos and three mantel clocks all going off within 20 seconds of each other. Drowns out the yelling and threats thrown at the kids. Keeps child services away. Will try to post pictures tomorrow.
