When the Last Day Cometh

Has someone ever heard of somebody being buried with his/her Rolex? Akin to a modern version of the ancient Qin Emperor being buried with an army of terracotta warriors in Xi'An.

And why not? Men are often buried wearing a favorite suit. I've heard of someone being buried with his golf clubs.

It's a comforting thought somehow. And the watch would simply stop running as its master has.

I'd love to be buried with my collection of Omegas but the missus said no way, she said is going to sell them and have a decent holiday. Typical woman can only think about money and treating herself.

Rather leave it for the kids

Dont leave it for the wife !! You dont want your "replacement " wearing it,do you ??

Then perhaps Peter can be bribed with it .... you never know, perhaps you may just need it !!

Time won't matter to you. Leave it to someone who doesn't have one. They'll never forget you.

I had surgery this week and had to review/copy my last directive for the hospital. I laughed as I read my desires...

The cheapest possible pine box available - nothing fancy plain wood - pine if possible. Very small services - no viewing.

lol (recently I was at Costco walking out and they have that casket sales display)... That is weird - so, i asked my wife to not buy my pine box at Costco - seems weird to get a casket from where you go for laundry detergent, toilet paper in bulk and free food samples...

Anyway, probably just opened a window into me for you guys and gals... sorry.

Watches go to my son and nephews/Nieces as long as they are good - not in jail and would appreciate them.

Waste to bury such beauty IMO.

"It don't matter where you bury me. I'll be home and I'll be free."

I've always loved that line!

The funeral people would probably steal it before you were buried.

Why take my YM with me? By then the lume will be all worn out. :)

As both of my children are boys, they can figure out who gets my ladies' YM.
